This unique home is nestled in the heart of an existing neighborhood in Falls Church. The site was very narrow and deep, limiting the size of the home possible in this location and making it challenging to design. We chose to design the front elevation in the Arts and Crafts style giving the it character and charm, to better fit into the fabric of the neighborhood. Due to the restrictions on size of footprint, we designed an efficient plan, having fewer, but larger rooms sizes than are typical in a small home. The great room functions as both family gathering and dining spaces. The Kitchen is open and fully equipped with lovely granite countertops and glass door front cabinets. These spaces are open to one another and great for entertaining. This home is light filled with hardwood floors throughout the main living level and upper floor bedrooms. There are only 3 bedrooms upstairs allowing the secondary bedrooms to be spacious with generous wall closets. The owners suite is large with coffered ceiling and large windows which fill the room with light. There is a deluxe owners bath and large walk in closet.
